The Fremont Solstice Parade in Seattle, Washington is one of the more unusual and eclectic street festivals in the area’s quirky community.
When: During the Summer Solstice, in June.
Where: Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood west of Fremont Ave North on N 35th Street and North 34th Street/Canal Street.

The Fremont Solstice Parade attracts over 100,000 people each year to join in on the eating, drinking, shopping and forms of artistic expression (naked body paint biking, anyone?).
There are street performers, handiwork booths, local bands playing, decorated cars, and more.
The Fremont Solstice parade has been around for nearly 40 years, with funds raised supporting local non-profit organizations.
