The Medieval Style Knight Festival, also known as “Autumn Nights in the Old City” takes place each year in Jerusalem’s Old City.
As night falls, visitors are invited to the Old City’s Christian Quarter at the Jaffa Gate where they will meet characters from the Medieval times. There are musicians, knights, princesses, dancers, magicians, jesters and peddlers from olden times.
As the evening progresses the experience travels to the Muristan Square, and then back to Jaffa Gate. There are a number of performances by Italian and Israeli performers including a suspended knight battle along the sides of a stone wall.
