Taking place each year on the Bank Holiday in August since 1966, the Notting Hill Carnival invigorates the streets of Notting Hill area of London, for twenty miles. There is a collection of vibrant costumes, steel drum bands, floats, dancers, and endless Caribbean food stalls.
The steel band competition can be seen on Saturday, there is a Kids’ Day on Sunday and the Bank Holiday Monday is when the main parade kicks off. The parade usually begins on Great Western Road at 9 a.m.
