Coachella is more than just a music festival in the sun. The two weekend spectacle is set up in tents around the desert grounds, each playing live music.
The main stages are the Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, Gobi Tent, Mojave Tent, and the Sahara Tent, and festival goers swap tents continuously trying to catch as many musical acts of their favorite bands as possible. The festival usually attracts a number of big-name music talent.
Venue gates open each day at 11 a.m. and usually ends around 12:30 a.m. Festival passes must be worn at all times. Kids ages 5 and under are free. As it takes place largely outdoors in the desert, it is advised to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Other Coachella Do’s and Don’ts can be found here.
